From pie, Mushu seems to have transitioned into takeout. Of course the convenience of having it delivered makes the exhausing task of moving around completely pointless. Less time waddling around means more time stuffing his face. Dig in, dumpling!

I finally saw Mulan with some friends... and as a consequence, Mushu got completely stuck in my mind. He was a permanet fixture of my thoughts. He started his indefinite —and likely permanent— stay, rent-free in the Penthouse Suite at the local Holiday TzINN (I'll see myself out).

My attempt to cope with this sudden and very welcome presence was drawing them. It started inocuously enough: merely a sketch. No harm there, right? But one sketch became two... and two became three, and within a week I had fallen into the trap of making a full blown sequence of the little dragon becoming progressively enormous.

So I took the idea and I ran with it. I had been hesitant about trying very big sizes, because I didn't think I had the skills or the knowledge to do it convincingly. And to my surprise, I think I did a decent job!

Anyway, thanks for sharing this adventure with me! I hope you enjoy it!
