Why am I doing it?
1. For my sanity. I'm tired of being unemployed - waking up every morning, looking forward to another day of not accomplishing anything that's of any value to other people.
2. For my survival. I'm not exactly on the verge of homelessness, but between unemployment bennies and plasma donations, I don't make nearly enough to cover my share of rent, utilities, student loan debt, food/vaccines for my dog, and bicycle repairs, much less to save up for a car.
3. For my art. I'd like to try different poses, different species, different moods, and different sexes/genders. I'd like to streamline my sketching a little more. I want to get better, and I want to get better at finishing things.

In that order.
...I should probably move #3 up to #1 since it would make me look better, but I'm too big a fan of honesty.
