I decided all proper "True" dragons in the manatear generate eggs. Among other reagents useful for their cult and tempting to outsiders. (Scales, and whatever else.)
Also wanted to do eggs because it means I can say that kobolds have "Opinions" about any spellfluxed with egg stealing reputations, like dooks.
The two variety of kobold (which I really need to come up with cutesy hybrid names for them.) are such.
Left: Raccoon Kangaroo.
Right: Funnec fox, Rabbit.

While the Dragons of your Mana Tear setting may have a different origin than classic dragons that is still so wrong for human treasure hunters to just walk in and start wrecking things just to get at the eggs and other stuff!
Good grief if you idiots destroy the warren then the dragon is likely to relocate elsewhere and next time you will go home empty-handed fools. Better to work out a mutual trade agreement that benefits all parties involved rather than just going all destroyer on a den.
