There's been rumors about a monster that has been wrecking havoc in a mountainous region nearby. Because of these rumors being talked about and Takum being the monster hunter he is, he ended up being sent out on an expedition to track down this unknown monster he was hearing so much about. It took several hours following this monster's tracks, but Takum noticed something on the ground next to these tracks. It looked like a red claw, so he picked it up to investigate further. Though not soon after, he felt a zap of lighting strike him before having a tingly feeling go throughout his body while not being able to move for whatever reason.
Takum's vulpine frame was starting to have some changes that he was unaware of, spikes poking out from his fur and large red claws growing in on his hands and feet, some of the gear like his outfit and goggles were tearing apart due to his body becoming larger. Then his mind was becoming foggy while he struggled to keep his personality and his former fox self but that was no use. It was becoming harder to think and to stand on his two legs. The only thoughts in his head was the desire to hunt and protect his territory while being a highly aggressive feral beast.
There was no longer a trace of Takum but a Stygian Zinogre instead as he ran off into the woods to do some hunting and to find any other monster hunters who were trying to invade his territory.
