Bill the Demon here is one of the antagonists in the current vintage Thimble Theatre story running on Comics Kingdom. It's also part of the last story Elzie Segar wrote before his premature death. After months and months and months of the demons being only an underground menace, eager to rally one another to throw dirt in Popeye's face, they finally appeared and ... I was not expecting them to be Eugene the Jeep's head on Alice the Goon's body. All right. I believe the appearance postdates Segar's death so I have no idea if this was his design or the best that his assistants/successors could do but it's odd and weird enough to have captured my interest.
