So for those who know me, I really like the mid 2000s era of 3d platformers. Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, and obviously Sly Cooper. On the subject of her portrayal in Sly 4, yeah no. Unnecessary twist that makes no sense considering her character. Subvert expectations for the sake of it. While I don't think the game, outside of it's story was bad, this one point is pretty annoying for me. So pretty much any and all depictions I do of Penelope, which I have a few planned for personal projects, will go with the assumption that Sly 4 never happened and she's still with Bentley. Might make something like this boiler plate.
