hotchkisstank , a russian artist, indulged me in this request.

It's a request for peace, and wingless in hopes that the no fly zone might become real.

I specifically asked russian artists to draw this same image over and over, choosing my blue and gold characters to signify that Ukraine should stay united and not be divided, and to show that russians are of the same mind as ukrainians about this. The artists are officially doing this this without compensation as a sign of solidarity.

In general i wish to basically foster the solidarity between ukrainians and russians to make people understand it is not an isolated case or two and so that "voices contrary to the mandated "truth" can rally together" and possibly find the courage to stand up.

You may have noticed lately that blue and yellow are starting to feature a lot in my uploads of art from russian artists, that is because not all artists wish to speak up openly (yeah, speaking of peace and funding the war is seen as silly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) but all of them feel the importance of this moment.

• I know russians who have been divided from their spouses due to this war, like they went to visit relatives and are now cut off.
• I know russians who went to visit their ukrainian friends in ukraine and have now been sharing their hospitality while their own country invades the country of their friends
• I know ukrainians in russia how have been sheltered by russians because there are literal russian police rounds to check up if anybody is hosting ukrainian "not spies"
• I know of russians married with ukrainians and living in russia who get daily checks of their spouse because it might not be showing "support to russia".

I literally talk to those people daily

Zelensky peace talk at the beginning of this war... was not a joke. Russia and Ukraine have been intertwined for quite a while. What Putin is doing is breaking up families. It's breaking up friendships and it's breaking up relationships.

I just hope that a few more people start showing solidarity and it gets things moving.
