An interesting comment. I'm not totally unfamiliar with hurling; my father played it at the school level (and had the broken nose to prove it). I am, of course, vastly more familiar with baseball, so I use that as the basis for the stories. Even though, as you suggest, hurling would be slightly more in keeping with Elfhame's Irish-ness.
