This was the second Savage Squirrel story I had read, and this "preventive maintenace" on his part made him more 3-dimensional to me. Keeping young furs off the path that would take them in front of his sights later in life...

I remember this, but I can't say from where. I think it might have been an old issue of Furrlough, but that doesn't seem right to me.

It wasn't Furrlough, it was something else (I can't remember either), and I never could find the issue with the beginning of this story. Some things are beginning to come together properly now.

Never thought otherwise.

I mean, after collecting so much money (And some rare firearms, I bet), there's only so much you can do with it before taxes catches up with you.

And, as he's more likely to shoot a money launderer than use him...
