"It's common knowledge for all in town that the barkeeper of the local inn is a retired paladin and as one can suppose it's a piece of information that is easily learned by all those who pass through the town during their journeys. The majority of foreigners who become aware of the barkeeper orc'rilla can't help to wonder why a paladin would retire to such a quaint village in his retirement but don't give it much further thought...

... but at the same time there is a number of adventurers not so much interested in the reasons why Al chose to retire to such a simple life but rather to test their might against a true holy knight.

Al isn't exactly happy to obligue but normally he ends up accepting their requests for a sparring session, if anything so they end pestering him with questions he's not comfortable answering.

However, many come to regret their request because it doesn't take long for Al to prove he's still a formidable warrior no matter how many years have passed since he retired, most sparring sessions end up with Al delivering a lesson in humility to the braggart in question who thought that he could take the retired paladin down just because he lives as a humble barkeeper nowadays.

Becase as it turns out at the end of the day there may not be much difference between an inn and the battlefield so it's almost impossible for our barkeeper orc'rilla to get rust..."
