Saren Larvitar ran to explore the dungeon, curious about the mysteries that the dungeon was hiding, Luke Croconaw gave a slight laugh covering his mouth with his paw watching him look among the luminous crystals and stepping hard on the grass trying to discover passages or traps. It didn't take long for Nái Tyranitar to come down the ramp with the bizarre statue of Ribombee in one of its paws, leaning on the cane in the other to avoid slipping:

- Saren, stop this mess! There's only me to tidy up here, and if you break one of these crystals, you'll be seeing me!

The great Tyranitar spoke immediately, putting her cane on the ground and calling her son with one of her paws, Nái then turned her attention to Luke who was looking at her while fiddling with his red scarf waiting for her to speak with him. With a kind smile the stepmother approached her godson and handed him the bizarre statue:

- Luke took that stone statue over there to the marble fountain, unfortunately your brother would sink like the Rock type Pokémon he is, and I... Well, I wouldn't have the delicacy that this piece requires.

Luke shakes his head in a positive sign following to the fountain, when passing by Saren the Croconaw hugs his brother quickly and affectionately saying he is happy that he is there with him. When arriving at the shore of the lake where the fountain was, Luke enters it delicately, the fear of breaking the statue was so much on the Pokémon's part that it put it under his big snout that he left immersed while he left his whole body submerged in the lake:

- Luke you look like a cute boat carrying a passenger with a fear of water hehehe.

Croconaw chuckled slightly hearing the debauched comparison his brother had made while he himself laughed at his joke, Nái however still looked very apprehensive watching her godson carry the piece up to the fountain only breathing a sigh of relief when she finally saw the statue on top of the monument. The great Tyranitar then walks to the right of the dungeon entrance, Saren follows his mother quietly as Luke gets out of the water, he takes one last look at the Ribombee statue feeling apprehensive:

- WOOOOOW, THERE IS A BATTLEFIELD HERE, HOW AWESOME!!! LET'S FIGHT NOW!

Croconaw turns as he hears his younger brother's excited shout and gives a smile for feeling good about Larvitar's animation, Luke walks to the place still turning one last time to observe the statue still with that feeling of apprehension. Finally, the older brother arrived at the dungeon's battlefield, it didn't have anything very special except for a small natural pool in the center of it:

- Thank you for putting the statue in the fountain Luke, now come to the field for your daily Power Point manipulation training.

Nái calmly makes her way to the center of the battlefield, keeping her cane on the ground and leaning on it to sit on the ground, Luke takes a deep breath feeling slightly nervous and sits down opposite his stepmother and the pool in the center of the field concentrating on the large Tyranitar. Saren who was outside was jumping slightly to see if there was anything special in the pool in the middle of the field, already tired of looking without seeing anything too much the energetic Pokémon thought it would be better to ask at once:

- Mom Mom Mom, I learned in school that Power Points are the amount a Pokémon can use its special moves until it gets tired, when it gets tired it can no longer use those powers and needs to take things like elixirs. Are you training Luke to increase the amount he uses these powers? IF SO, OW I WANT TOO, I WANT TOO, I ALREADY KNOW HOW TO USE MY STONE EDGE AND I WANT TO USE MORE AND MORE!

The Pokémon was about to use the Stone Edge move to demonstrate its power, but the mother, with just a few light taps of her cane on the ground, made it stop and calm down. Saren was expecting a scolding for being so energetic, but his mother just laughed kindly, just as Luke was laughing:

But like humans our knowledge has also evolved a lot when we have suffered trials, some of us have discovered that this limit is not something real...

Nái then lifted her paws making her cane levitate right in front of the young Pokémon above the artificial pool, she then made several rocks go towards it just by slightly moving her paws making the shards orbit like satellites on a planet that in this case was her cane:

- At this very moment I am manipulating my Power Points by controlling the rocks around me and my cane, this way I can manipulate his structure and make him something new, something wonderful, something unique and different.... HAAAAA!

The Tyranitar then pulls a giant white crystal leaving it right on top of her cane and the rocks, at that moment Nái closes her paws with great strength gathering everything into one thing forming a large sphere of stone squeezing as hard as she could. Saren's eyes shone like stars and if his mouth opened wider he would fall into the pool, Luke caressed his brother watching everything with a smile remembering the first time he came across the same demonstration, the Tyranitar then separated her hands making the large crystal and the rocks return to their places immediately, however her cane remained in the same place changed now her staff was thicker and on top the gem was a white crystal:

- Whew, I'm getting old for this, it used to be a lot easier khuhuhui, very well, here Saren, hold my new cane.

Pointing at his youngest son, the cane goes directly to his paws and he holds it with great delight and surprise, the little one touched everything, even needing Croconaw's help to hold the large stone cane for him:

Nái then swings the finger of his left claw slowly turning it this way the water of the artificial pool begins to get restless, Larvitar directs his gaze to it taking a fright to see it begin to release several particles like a rain coming from inside. It doesn't take long for those several particles to gather more and more forming a kind of dust ring in which orbited the Tyranitar's cane, Saren observes it attentively coming to a conclusion:

- WOW WOW WOW WOOOOOOOOW, I GET IT!!! HAHAHAAAA, YOU ARE MANIPULATING THINGS BY USING THE RIGHT TYPE PP, THAT'S WHY MOMMY NEEDED THE RIGHT STUFF TO IMPROVE THE CANE, THIS STUFF IS THE LEFT-OVER STUFF! DID I GET IT RIGHT DID I GET IT RIGHT?!

Luke strokes his brother's head laughing while his stepmother stabilizes the dust particles:

- Yes, little brother, you answered right, the energy to control the rocks came from the PP of the Stone Edge movement, however the matter came from them themselves and in this case our mother did not use the Stone Edge to create rocks through energy but to manipulate a matter that already existed. This way not spending PP and creating much more complex things, the inverse can also be done as you saw with me using Ice Punch earlier.

Croconaw then pointed again to the debris left by the rocks orbiting the cane, Nái taking advantage of the hook given by his godson then continues to explain the principle of PP manipulation:

- As your older brother said, the reverse can also be done as I will demonstrate now.... HOOOO HAAAAA!!!

The Tyranitar seemed to implement enough force in her arms almost as if she was trying to throw them against her cane, quickly those small pieces of dust increased frighteningly becoming rocks even larger than those used by his mother and several new white crystals appeared where were the shards of the previous. However, what looked good turned bad in an instant when Nái began coughing heavily to the point of releasing blood from his mouth, Luke thought fast and got up throwing Saren behind him and touching the water with his tail he activated the Aqua Tail raising a huge amount of water with his tail and hitting the rocks and crystals shattering them into pieces:

- Ghaa... H-how did you do that Lu-Luke?!

Little Larvitar was stunned by his older brother's quick thinking but not only that, he heard the patriarch Lucius Feraligatr yelling at Croconaw for being weak and not using his moves the right way, and now out of nowhere he was witnessing that same Croconaw judged to be invalid spraying rocks and crystals like he was blowing a pile of beach sand:

- I'll explain later, let's go help mommy, quick grab her backpack I'll do first aid!!!

Saren gets a serious expression shaking his head confirming the order he had received running to get the backpack, Luke goes towards his stepmother calmly touching Tyranitar's back. She was still panting heavily and so he touched her bottom again in the pool using the Aqua Tail again manipulating water close to Nái, Tyranitar drinks that water coughing a bit only seeming to have stabilized herself already:

- Sorry son, I got too carried away and used more PP than I could, my body is not so young and strong anymore.... I ended up failing, thank you very much, you are a sweet Togetic who fell from the sky and even learned a new move to save me.

Already relieved to see that his stepmother was better, Croconaw cancels the move and hugs her lightly so as not to hurt her, the inverse process is much more powerful than the common one only that it directly manipulates the PP of the Pokémon that uses it, hurting its body in the process and possibly even being fatal.
In parallel, a little further away from the dungeon of the "Fountain of Lost Dreams," the Soldier team was searching the dense forest around Argules for the Hellstalker that had attacked and petrified the watchman Lampent last night. According to Riano Grunbull's analysis and Brago Rotom Dex's database there had been no more similar attacks that night, so Rex Lucario deduced that the Hellstalker territory could be in that region:

- We've been walking for hours, we haven't found even a sign of Hellstalker aura in the city and now we're scouring this nasty forest.... Urrrf, I thought that working as a Soldier would be more glamorous but it seems like a job like any other of mere Explorers or Rescue teams.

Naz Gabite spoke in frustration as she cleaned up the dirt and grass that was dirtying the bands of her bracelets, Cody Charmeleon was right behind her completely ignoring the complaint of her companion just watching the woods around her looking for any possible suspicious movement. On the other hand, the superior Rex who was walking in front of the two subordinates made sure to answer Naz's complaint at the right time:

- I don't know what made you think something so lame, we are superior to the Explorers and Rescue teams not because we don't do what they do, but because we do a much more thorough and dangerous job. Now be a good female and find the Hellstalkers don't make me regret recruiting you, we won't stop until we find at least one of the bad guys. I WAS CLEAR!!!

Lucario spoke harshly and nervously, and Naz swallowed dryly, visibly nervous even as she hid her arms behind her back:

- Y-yes sir, excuse my insubordination....

After the scolding she took Gabite became quieter despite still being very angry with all that, after walking a little further into the forest the Soldiers decided to split up to cover more ground. Rex thought it would be better for him to go next to Naz because she is more used to moving in the city than in the forest, the Charmeleon could go just for being well ranked and well evaluated for situations like the present, but he had to take the Gadget and would have to communicate immediately to Lucario his position if he found something suspicious.

In the city of Argules in a simple house in a humble neighborhood, Mei Servine was alone reading a book that talked about fashion and accessories cutting her flowered hat very carefully using her own scissors following the instructions in the book, Servine intended to change her civilian disguise again after having seen the police action earlier. Mei stops her crafting for a bit and looks at the nothingness thoughtfully, she remembered seeing a Lucario accompanied by the prince and a Gabite and just with their presence the policemen moved away, at that Servine started talking to herself to organize her thoughts:

- Damn, things are going to get even more complicated.... Arrg, I should have attacked a beserker, by the way that Granbull treated the trio, they are not an ordinary team, if the Soldiers started acting in Argules I have to be even more careful.

*BLAM BLAM BLAM*

Mei's thoughts are then interrupted by someone knocking loudly on her door, the Servant quickly hides her hat and book on a desk and takes her white scarf and ties it delicately around her neck making it look like a man's tie. Mei then announces that she is going to open the door by going over there as delicately as a leaf being blown by the wind, Servine then opens the door saying a sonorous and very kind "good morning".
However, the sight that awaited Mei was not kind at all, the Pokémon knocking on her door was Theo Ursaring with a horrible appearance as if he had been run over by a herd of Tauros at election time. Servine was already going to scream in fright, however she covers her own mouth with her small hands and starts scanning around her noticing only a curious look in which she would have to take care of later:

- Theo, quickly drag yourself into my house before anyone else sees you, come I'll help you, come, come quietly....

Mei spoke kindly even helping Ursaring to move making him enter her house, but as she closed the door the Servine kicks Theo right in the face on the floor angry and very angry she kneels next to Ursaring's face pulling the Pokémon's ear close to her mouth:

- Are you an idiot? To come knocking on my door like that, you've lost your mind, you big turd, do you want me to be found out? Huh? SLOWPOKE ASSHOLE!

Mei when she finishes speaking let’s go of Theo's ear letting the Pokémon's head fall on the floor without any support, still annoyed Servine started kicking Ursaring to get him into the female's room. When Mei gets there, she starts panting tired from having kicked her partner so much, and Theo starts mumbling in great pain, saying things like "help me" or "heal me", something that only irritated Servine more:

- Shut your mouth, shut your fucking mouth... You know what Theo, this is just for underestimating me at night, the maiden here is unharmed while the brute was beaten to a pulp, listen and listen carefully if you want to...

Mei's rant is interrupted by someone knocking on her door, the Pokémon was apprehensive wondering if it could be the police or a Soldier so she grabs her trusty tessen. When she opens the door, she sees a worried Drakloak wearing pink kitchen gloves, Mei immediately feels relieved to know that it was only the gossipy Pokémon who lived in the house opposite her and the only witness from earlier. Drakloak asks Servine if she's okay because she saw an injured Ursaring entering her house. With a fake worried look, Mei says it's a friend of hers and asks the Pokémon to help her.
Inside the house Servine goes to the kitchen with Drakloak stating that she was going to get water for her friend, while getting the water from a bowl Mei cunningly probed her neighbor asking if she had told anyone else what she saw and how things were in her home. The Drakloak nervously moved her two paws inside her kitchen gloves answering the questions, she said she was apprehensive when she saw the situation and didn't alert anyone else by going straight to see how Servine was doing, since she sympathized with the situation as she was also a female Pokémon who lives only in that humble neighborhood.
Mei left the bowl of water under the kitchen table and hugged Drakloak, she thanked him immensely for his concern and that she was really afraid of all that. Drakloak kindly returned the hug and said he would help her with her injured friend. Servine then let go of Drakloak's embrace, showing tears, taking the tessen from her back and shaking it pretending that it was an ordinary fan, she then recomposes herself and leaves the tessen on the table and takes the bowl of water:

- Come on my sweet, I'm sure my friend will appreciate your generosity, I I I... Oh Arceus, I don't even know how to thank you... Come, let's go see him...

Meanwhile far from there, Cody continued walking on his own through the forest following Rex's plan thinking that maybe it would be better to go over the trees to cover more ground, however, he didn't want to spend his energy having to fight unnecessarily with some Pokémon Beserker in which had the top of trees as homes and territories, apart from the big blue cape given to him as a weapon something still incomprehensible and in the forest of dense forest more hindered than helped. Walking further ahead Cody begins to find strange marks on the trees, he touches them with his claw to check the depth of the blow noticing that it could be of a Bug type:

- It's thin, but not so thin to be Scyther, and it's too surgical a cut to be from a Beserker, no... This cut is from someone who can cut very well, there is fallen grass in this area and scrambled bushes ahead, I am close to something...

As a precaution while advancing to see what was happening in the forest the Charmeleon alerted Rex and Naz by his Gadget, at this moment he hears a scream coming from ahead starting to run as fast as he could towards it only being hindered constantly by his blue cape that held him among the vegetation of the forest. The flame on Cody's tail became more and more incandescent as his anger grew, but just as he was about to rip off his cape to throw it away the piece of clothing contracted and began to take on a strange shape, making the Charmeleon more irritated:

- WHAT THE IMPIDIMP IS THIS?! ARRRG MISERABLE CAPE... hm?! WOW WOW WOW, I'M FLYING, WOW WOW, THE TREES, THE TREES!

The cape had transformed into a pair of blue wings shaped like a Charizard's, only Cody didn't even have time to thank for the change as he flew completely out of control in a completely dense forest. The Charmeleon didn't know how he did it, but the cape seemed to respond perfectly to his thoughts by perfectly dodging the trees and other obstacles in front of him and something at that moment stirred Cody who felt as if the blue cape was part of his body.
After flying a bit through the forest, the Charmeleon begins to find several petrified Beserker as well as more and more cut marks, Cody then lands easily deciding that he will follow on foot to draw less attention and can hear another scream ahead resembling that of a Pinsir. The Charmeleon ran through the destroyed undergrowth finally arriving at the possible culprit for Beserker's and possibly Lampent's petrifications, the Pokémon leapt out of the undergrowth seeing the Pinsir in front of it in agony:

- STOP HELLSTALKER, LEAVE THAT POKÉMON ALONE! GHU?!

Cody shouted for Hellstalker to drop the Pinsir which continued to scream in agony, it wasn't long before the Bug Pokémon was silenced by finally being petrified right in front of the Soldier. The Hellstalker then drops the stone Pinsir knocking it to the ground and revealing itself to be a Kricketune with gray and well-manicured whiskers, seeing the Charmeleon in front of it the Hellstalker without giving it a chance to defend itself uses the Bug Buzz move.
Cody puts his right arm in front of him to defend himself, however he ends up being very surprised when without his command the cape had stretched and covered his arm and even with this Charmeleon still hears that tearing sound coming from the move that hurt him despite not being super effective because of its fire type has advantage over Bug type moves. But something draws the fire Pokémon's attention when it notices that this Bug Buzz was not common, it happens that this movement can be seen by the naked eye despite being sound waves, and the reason for Cody's discomfort was that this movement usually has a red or green coloring, but he was witnessing a black color.
Even though the Pokémon is still in pain, he directs his attention to his cape, noticing that it becomes increasingly gray as he blocks the movement:

- I get it, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO TRANSFORM ME INTO A STATE YOUR filthy PARAS!!!

With the right opening Charmeleon jumps out of the space where the movement hit, only losing part of his blue cloak, and to prevent the Kricketune from using the black Bug Buzz once again he using his left claw uses the Air Slash movement with his claw stuck in the ground. Even though the Kricketune tried to cancel Cody's move with his Fury Cutter he still suffered the critical damage of the Flying move and was stunned by the grass and dust thrown in his face.
Bug tries to clean up the mess as fast as he can and even succeeds, but it was too late as Charmeleon had already had enough of an opening to get in front of the Kricketune and sink him to the ground with the Thunderpunch move which he purposely used to hit the Hellstalker in the face:

-NOW STAY DOWN YOU TRASH, GHAAA, HAAA, HAAA, HAAA!!!

While shouting loudly Cody also added more and more electrical charge to his movement, little by little he sank the Kricketune into the ground until it formed a small crater only taking his fist away from Hellstalker's face when he stopped moving:

- Huff huff huff it's over, urrf!!! GHAW AW BRO, SERIOUSLY!!!

The Kricketune pretended to faint to try to use Fury Cutter on the Pokémon, only to be saved by its cape in which it again blocked the movement with black energy, however not preventing Hellstalker from spreading its wings and running away from Charmeleon. But to the Kricketune's misfortune, Rex appears right there in front of him using Bone Rush on his face throwing him violently against the ground creating an even bigger crater than the one made by Cody:

- Congratulations Cody, you saved you and your friend Gabite from patrolling at night guihehe. Good thing I brought the capture orbs, let's send this creep straight to the Tree of Life base.

Charmeleon breathed a sigh of relief that he had taken good care of his first Hellstalker case, he just admired his blue cloak and even sketched a small smile looking at it, impressed that something he had so disdained was the key to his victory. Lucario had already picked up the orb in his bag ready to use it to send the Kricketune:

- WAIT, WAIT!!!

Shouted Naz suddenly startling him and leaving Cody on alert, she did not approach and only watched him from afar more closely:

- Guys, you don't know who this is?! It's Nicon, he's simply the conductor of the Argules symphony orchestra, he's a big celebrity..., but I heard he was dismissed a week ago, apparently, they replaced him with a conductor...

Without giving the slightest importance to Gabite's words, Lucario just throws the orb that sucks the Kricketune inside and then shatters, Naz is stunned by what Rex had just done:

- But but but but, Master Rex, couldn't we... I don't know, take him to the police, or to a hospital, send him to the Soldier center like that without telling anyone, without any evidence, without giving any satisfaction, it's not... Hmmm ammm, kind of rude and unprofessional?

Without a word Lucario walks away from Gabite and approaches the petrified Pinsir, he then begins to show the chaos caused by Nicon one by one as if he were dancing, making fun of Naz's words:

- His idol died the moment he made a pact with Dark Matter, his legacy now is no longer as a maestro but as a Hellstalker, a being considered crueler and viler than a simple Beserker. LOOK NAZ, LOOK AT EVERYTHING around you, when you think about feeling pity for this scum, remember what you are seeing right now in front of you, think that it could be your relatives, your friends, it could be you, me, and Cody... Unprofessional is to feel sorry for these creatures.

Rex already visibly angry walks hurriedly towards the city already satisfied with what his team did on the first day of service, however Gabite still did not share the vision of his superior:

- MASTER REX, BUT WHAT ABOUT THOSE PETRIFIED POKÉMON, WON'T WE HELP THEM?!

Already out of patience Lucario just stops for a second to walk taking a deep breath, without even looking at his subordinates he just says angrily:

- I FOUND YOU IN A GUILD OR IN A CONVENT?! YOU ARE JUST A BESERKER, YOU CAN HELP, BUT THEY WILL KILL YOU AND NOT THANK YOU, NOW LET'S GO, WE ARE ALREADY WASTING TIME!

Naz stretches out her left paw trying to babble out a word to no avail, and as Cody walks past her with her head held high without saying or looking at her, Gabite's spirit shatters right there. Naz looks around at all that had been done by Nicon, Gabite then briefly recalls her childhood as a Gible in which she heard various melodies from the conductor's orchestra:

- How can someone who has done such wonderful things be capable of such cruelty.... I swore to protect all Pokémon, those petrified Pokémon could be me... The Hellstalker with an uncertain future could also be me.... Are we really superior to the Explorers and Rescue teams? At that moment I just feel like I haven't helped anyone, I feel like I've delayed a detonation but not stopped the explosion.

After his brief monologue looking with regret at all the destruction and agony, Naz just turns to the petrified Pokémon and that chaotic and cruel scene running towards his team just saying his last words of regret:

- Forgive me.....
