Back to my habit of uploading half-done things to my main gallery. Oh well. Dx

ver 1.0 - This is going to be part of a full painting. I'm working on the background separately. I'm going to add wings to this before I move it over to the painting file. I've spent an embarrassingly long time refining this sketch.

Looking at it right now I think the torso could use some adjustments. Bent at a funny angle and I'm not sure how to fix it. :/

ver 2.0 - I lied, I decided I didn't want to do the wings on the character yet, but rather work to refine the background before I go any further. Right now it is in landscape mode, but I'm thinking I want to trim off the excess on the sides so the waterfall is more the focus and make the whole thing portrait style. Maybe add a pool of water at the bottom of the picture.

ver 3.0 - holy crap i can draw waterfalls o_o shading isn't for reals, just wanted to make it look nicer while I whittle away at the background.

PS: so far I haven't used a photo ref (except for some placeholder texture on the stone). WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME D8<
