Slowly, and after there’s been a lot of trust and care built up. She knew I had medical problems, I told her that I leaned into them as a coping mechanism for the stress of life / job. We had shared interest in colorful things, games, cartoons, so it just got built up on that bedrock. It was actually harder telling her about YOU all, but she was very open minded and enjoyed meeting my friends at con, which helped immensely to normalize all this.

Not sure furries "normalize" anything. xP

It’s a two way street for sure. The people you allow into your circle should be aware of the fact not everyone wants to hear a detailed list of your fetishes upon first meeting someone, but I was really lucky that Zel was as open minded and accepting of peeps as she is
