This is what i wore Oct 20 on GLAAD's purple day.
I heard a lot of friends talking and chatting about how they really dont have any purple in their wardrobe... this is one of my favorite outfits, and almost my whole wardrobe is black and purple.
This was taken with my new Droid X right before i went to the college for school that day... yes i wear my tail to school all the time, and usually my collar as well, and yes they go over very well, and positively.
Lastly for those that havent seen them, or havent been able to ask someone that has them, yes, I got myself Virbram Five-Finger shoes. Yes they are very comfortable, more so than even my Crocs, and the model i have is the KSO (Keep stuff out) Model, which i use for everything, swimming, running when not actually barefoot running, rock climbing, as well as trail walking and everyday use.

google purple day, cnn covered it, it was started by GLAAD (the gay and lesbian alliance against defamation). it was started to show support for the wave of recent gays that have ended their lives due to not being able to handle being hated for their sexuality.
I didnt know about it until that day, but i looked at the web site and several people tweeted about it (which is how i found out). facebook had like 1.6 million people sign up saying they would wear purple to support the cause.
