It is indeed a fun concept in general, I'd say. Whether characters change color through treats, magical means or simply painting each other for fun, it can make for a neat change of style for them. Pink usually reminds me more of candyfloss and bubblegum so it gives a Mon somewhat of a sweet vibe. I like to apply that sorta subtle change to my mascot Totodile also from time to time and people usually find it rather amusing to see him as a pink Totodile again.
