I hope that took you a long time, I might be frightened if you just shook that out of your sleeve. Actually it doesn't really matter, good art is good art, and bad art is bad art, no matter how long they took to create. Yours belongs in the first category, naturally. :)

O it did, especially because it is fairly large. There are masterpieces that are done in a day and mediocre things that can take weeks. What I find is the best way to go about things is to make quick sketch, if it looks good, has a nice concept, feel, and composition then you can take that and start making a more polished work, but sometimes for that sketch you need a hundred others. ^^;

I'm afraid I wouldn't fit in well at a meal like that... too clean cut for me!

The seam almost fits in perfectly with the coloration of the paper, meaning I looked right at it and didn't notice until I read the description and looked again. If I had looked at it long enough, enough times, I would have eventually noticed it. Maybe it's more obvious in the smaller view, I don't know.

It is a little dull and formal, but surely the food makes up for it. ^^
I did try my best to hide it, and it does not look too bad, I think that it actually adds to that old look, but it does not matter as long as you liked it!
