I mean, a lot of lizards don't have a penis, just a cloaca. They mate with a "cloacal kiss".

But really, if you never had it, would you miss it? Do you feel bad not having a bony 'os penis'? Or a knot? (OK, so it looks cool, but there's lots of drawbacks.)
