Author's note: Scratch 'n' Sniff's Den Of Doom was a children's TV game show on ITV in which two puppet hyenas try to trick children into answering questions incorrectly, so they can eat them. It was pretty funny. You can watch a few episodes on YouTube. I stumbled across it by accident the other day.

I've always wondered why "community service" was a punishment. The thought of Jinjur being horrified by being sentenced to "community service" was just too funny. I mean, she stood there with an expressionless, even bored face, when Peleg read off the ways she was going to be executed.
But community service? OH, YOU MONSTERS!

"Scratch & Sniff" is one you watch with your jaw hanging slack as you try to muffle giggles. "What's In Sniff's Pants?" made me think "How in the name of little dust bunnies did they ever get away with THIS?!" "It's long, it's wiggly, it has sharp teeth..." "Dayim, they know wgat hyena anatomy looks like--oh, wait, it's a ferret..."
After watching the link... oooh, I think these are the guys who did Mongrels! XD Was a fantastic if rather crude show about a bunch of literal animals in the back lot of a pub. Same quality of puppets, and a similar style of humor, though far more adult.
If you ever get the chance, you should look it up. Not sure if it's available for sale in the USA, but you can at least find clips of it online. Only got two seasons, but it was pretty fun. Not to mention all the crazy musical numbers. XD

The two puppeteers have worked together on a number of shows. They did a pair of wolf characters, "Bro and Bro," and then the hyena characters on another show; the hyenas got names and then a spin-off of their own "Den of Doom" which ran for a season but not all the videos are saved. I had to do a bit of forensics to find out about it, but if you google "Scratch & Sniff's Den of Doom" it should bring up a starting point.
