lol at that Danny Catbat. I'm surprised to find how much of a cult following movies like Cats Don't Dance have on Deviant Art and Furaffinity. I barely remember that movie, although my memory of it was kind of refreshed when an animation teacher of mine played clips of that movie to show us examples of good pose to pose animation.

I didn't realize it had a cult following- it was a pretty impressive movie, though. I have it on DVD, though (but it's not widescreen, argh)

Cats Don't Dance was a box office bomb in its initial release, but from all the fan art I've seen of the movie on dA, that didn't stop it from gaining many fans. I enjoyed watching it myself when my animation teacher put it on.

It wasn't marketed well, so the demographic it was aiming for wasn't hit when it was released.

I always loved it for that animation. I love that super-fluid bouncy-squishy kind of animation. =3
