Why is her tail coming out of the side of her hip?

Naw, it's coming out of her sacrum. I think though that you are seeing the one light stripe and thinking that it it the center of her tail...she has two stripes, one down each side of her tail. Adding to the confusing tail is the fact that the tip of her tail is curved to face the viewer rather than side-on like the rest of her tail is.

It definitely isn't perfect though, which is why it's in scraps. I hate her knees myself :(

Yeah, the knees aren't quite right either.

Still though, shiny clothes.
