Here is a buckle I forged recently for a tool belt. Something to hold the large array of sheathed tools around my hips that I can take off when ever I need to with out my pants falling to the ground.
Buckle is forged from a section of steel plate. The inner portion that allows the belt to slip through was chiseled out while hot.
I honestly should have taken a picture of this before I sewed it into the belt so a better view could be seen of the actual forged item.
On the right, the viewer can see the other belt buckle I've made. They're matching- kind of!
