Big image dump incoming! I've amassed an assload of character sketches over the last year or so and have organized them into 4 big files to keep the image sizes from getting too out of hand. This one's the General/SFW edition, consisting mostly of my own characters, except for the ones who pretty obviously aren't. Putting this together has made me realize that I shouldn't have held onto all these sketches for so long before choosing to post them, and also that some of them were really drawn larger than they ever needed to be. In future I'll try to be more considerate, mostly to myself ;'D
If you find it difficult to zoom in to see everything clearly, it may help to right-click on the image and select Open Image in New Tab.
edit: Actually I find it works quite a bit better by just clicking Full View and viewing it normally. Maybe it looks different on mobile, idk :v

Nah, he's designed in a childish/naive style. But all childish/naive style are not equivalent, not at all. He's got very distinctive features in style, that are really not that simple to imitate correctly. You've got the proportions, angles, asymetrical details damn right, and maybe it's even more difficult here than in any "correct" art!!!
Yes indeed! I use a 10 x 6.25 Monoprice tablet. This was my first tablet so I wanted the most basic unit I could find :v I paid around $60 for mine. So far I've been very satisfied with it, I've been using it for 5 years and have yet to have any problems or complaints. Naturally, it took me a little practice to get comfortable drawing with it after having drawn with pencil & paper for decades, but you soon get a feel for it. And my goodness, but digital painting/colouring is SO much less messy & stressful than dealing with ink & paint!
In short, I would definitely recommend getting ahold of one!
