It's so weird, you know? Vahno was just minding his business and then turned out to be a kangaroo rubberclown and there was the first cream pie racing toward his face. Who can explain the mysterious workings of fate? Well, at least he looks extremely, even permanently, happy about it all!
So I owe
shadowsoldierxander considerable thanks for letting me work out an idea of uncertain origin using his character. In kangaroo form because, well, he's a kangaroo often enough and I've been doing a lot of kangaroo art. Also kangaroo feet exaggerate even better into clown shoes. I'm not sure just what's got me on the clown kick --- I think he might have given me words of encouragement at the right moment --- but that and my desire to figure out how to do rubbery, glossy sheen all came together.
I am surprised how well everything came together here. Granting part of that is having spent a bit of time every day for a week on it, so this has like four times the effort put in of a normal piece. I even managed to have all four of his arms in the scene without it looking too unbalanced. The boxing gloves really help there in reducing how complicated that cluster of limbs is.
There are, like, 78 layers in the Procreate file behind this, which does include some cases where I duplicated a layer and tried a different version of it, for example in the wobble lines.
