Zena was ironing clothes while Zee-Zee played outside in his new Buzz Lightyear costume (it's a little too big for him, but he'll grow into it). Suddenly she heard a little voice yelling "Mommy! A big giant eye from space wants me to go to space with her and have fun! Is that okay?"
"Okay, sweetie," Zena chuckled. "Just don't go beyond the galaxy of Andromeda, or you won't be home in time for tea!"
So Zee-Zee cheerfully toddled back to his new friend, thrilled that Mommy said yes when he'd thought she might just think it was too dangerous. She hadn't even reminded him to use the potty before going on a long journey! Mommy must really know what a big squirrel he is now!

Spaceships have special potties that work without gravity, but when astronauts, even grownup ones, have to go outside in a spacesuit, they really do have to wear diapers. See, if you're outside working on something and you need to go to the potty, it's more important that they finish what they're doing because it takes so long to get in and out of the spaceship and spacesuit. It's not like coming inside from playing in the yard, and there's lots of stuff that, if they don't repair it in time, could make the spaceship stop working!
In short, when you're in space, keeping everything working right is more important than being a big boy.

Nuh uh; there's potties in space, only when you're in a space suit doing stuff outside for a long long time, you can't come in to use it so grownup astronauts wear diapers so they won't have to come inside. Big kids gotta come inside from playtime to go to the potty, but with astronauts it's worktime so they can't. But they're grownups, so they change themselves, not each other!
Heehee, that'd be funny too! ^.^ I was actually thinking of doing this as a three-panel comic with the longer story in the description, but I had a nagging feeling that I was stealing almost word-for-word from a Calvin and Hobbes or Ozy and Millie or somewhere... But there's only so many ideas in the world, and if it's accidental, it's okay ^.^
