Mmmmmmm, very nice! I especially like the way his hind legs are .. spread wider than his front. Almost in invitation. ;)
On a purely visual side-note, if you do something like this again, can I suggest a very small change? Horses will tend to cock one hoof when they're standing for a while. It shows they're kind of resting without actually sleeping. :)
