SCP personnel card (1)
I've always been a fan of the SCP foundation (you can read more about it here) and all the things that come of it, and something I've seen a lot of was the access cards for personnel. While the designs themselves were pretty neat, I always felt them to be a little lacking and inconsistent between creators (no shade on the creators out there, and it's all up to interpretation), so I decided to take a jab at it myself. This was the first design I'd done and I tried to standardize it the best I can in case I want to make more. Going from top to bottom:
The green and blue stripes are meant to signify veterancy. If I'm remembering right (because I made this a while ago and didn't bother to post it because of a licensing concern), the green stripes are meant to signify five years as an agent each (or five in the field), and the blue stripes are for five years as a researcher for each stripe (or site work). The barcode is a fun addition that I borrowed from a keycard I got when I pledged to an SCP art book kickstarter by Paranormal Activity Books(scan it if you dare), and the letter in the corner signifies the [uel=https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/securi.....oc14]personnel classification.[/url] The portrait is a drawing of my sona Strelok done by the talented
Maefeline.
If I make more I'll play around with the design a little more, and if you have a suggestion I'd love to hear what they are! I'm always trying to improve as an artist.
