I recently visited the Wichita Art Museum where they were displaying a special exhibit of Art Deco pieces. I couldn’t resist shooting photographs of some of the shinier items.
Easily my favorite piece in the collection is this whimsical penguin-shaped cocktail shaker from 1936. The museum placard only says ‘metal’ but it appears to be made of bronze. You did say “Shaken, not stirred” didn’t you? And don’t forget the ice!

Probably silver plated brass. I was thinking pewter but it's not likely coming from that era. Anyway, it's worth a pretty penny.
