Wow, you definitely did an amazing job, I’m extremely impressed by this since it looks purely amazing, everything’s spot on and you seem to have improved a lot, so yea, great job :3, also irs definitely obvious that Sky didn’t like landing in a large mud hole, but seems like Rottytops isn’t very bothered by it, and is more annoyed at Sky going of at her but…, I wonder what even caused them to land there in the first place.
I initially had the idea that they had to maybe jump off a runaway wagon or something, and they just happened to land in a muddy spot by the side of the road. Or maybe they were traveling on foot and they tumbled down a steep hill and landed in the spot they're in.

I'm thinking for the next Shantae game they should take a page from Spyro 3 and have little mini levels for all of her friends. Like enter a certain area, and you'll either have Rotty, Bolo, or Sky waiting there and when you talk to them you get to play as them in a section built around their playstyles and abilities to retrieve a collectable and/or important item. Make them feel more involved rather than just have them stand around doing nothing.
