The one significant place in Hamburg that I've actually been to! Though that was in '97 travelling to and from Eurofurence 3, so I don't recall that much about the station - I was mostly running through my English-German phrasebook in my first visit to a non English speaking country 😀
Bloody hell, that's a lot of platforms!
It reminds me of the humongous departure hall at Hong Kong International, where on a clear day you could see your departure gate at the other end of the terminal...
