Here’s a commission sequence from the ever-talented 
Nickel-Cat_Engine, featuring Holt, as well as an old unicorn character of mine (Fast Food Unicorn), Jasper, as well as Nickel’s own fursona. Inspired by some recent historically inspired art he’d shared with me, I decided to commission him something in the colonial theme, but with a twist! It would be about not a historical event, but a reenactment of it, specifically the War of Independence in, what was at the time, the Thirteen Colonies of America. The work he did on this is simply fantastic, especially for such a unique in regards to the historical clothing the boys are busy bursting out of!
Nickel was awfully enthused about the whole thing, until he collided with the… erm… expansive standards of the troops! They are American, after all… But, not to worry! An ancient cookbook and some rich ingredients should help him whip up something truly special - something even these picky pudgeballs will like! Anything to make sure the troops are fit and proper - or, at least fat and pudgy, if nothing else!
