A fantasy on one of my favourite operas (based on one of my favourite stories) of all time. I really wanted to encapsulate the feelings and scenes from this whilst still allowing the themes from the original to blend in seamlessly. It's something I have wanted to write for a while, but only this year felt I was ready to take on such a personal task for fear of not doing justice to it.
