================
Slightly later than expected because of a holiday, this is finally the last part of "My Kingdom". It begins with an unusual transition from the last part, using a variety of different time signatures and dropped beats, then brings back the theme from the beginning, adding the chorus section from the centre of the song and finishing with the same section as the first part again. The lyrics here echo the ones from "Hand of Fate" at the beginning of the album.
In this last part, the narrator realizes he is wasting his life by always trying to escape from it. Even though it's easy to want to escape from the problems of this world, there is good in it as well if we make it for ourselves. We can always wish to be somewhere else, but our real lives are unique and special, and we need to appreciate that we have been given life.
And after this hanging over my head since the start of 2006, finally I'll get the chance to write something new!
[Lyrics]
There is good in this world if you know where to look
The wonders that you take for granted every day
So don't waste all your life waiting for this escape
Forever waiting for a world that can't be real
Was I born to be the one I am
Am I a misplaced mind...
We are bound to lead the lives we have
No matter where they are
I will use my time and be thankful now
That I am alive at all
I am no master, I'm no god
I have no power to give life
But power to create
I am the maker, I am here
And I can see my world now
I have to turn away
But in the end it will appear
The world I have seen in my dreams
The power of the mind
Desire of the heart
A place I'll never find
My kingdom
