I just learned today about the passing of the amazing artist  AraKaraath. I hadn't realized that when we lost touch early 2021 that that was the last time I'd talk to him and it breaks my heart to know the world lost a wonderful person. I grew up reading In A Perfect World and it helped shape me as the person and furry I am today and even though we didn't know each other that well, he was a loving and friendly guy who I happily considered a friend.

The art above is something that he was working on while we chatted for the short year we were on contact with each other. It was some sketch art done for a silly game idea we went back and forth on, a western themed game about a gunslinger dragon named Bandit and a ferret named Kablooie that he'd launch from a pop gun at enemies. It was something fun we'd chat off and on about and I doubt these were ever shown to anyone outside of our chat, so I wanted to bring that small bit of joy to y'all.

Rest in peace, Ara. I'll miss ya.
