After a long LONG time, Lahr is finally back though in a very different form!
Originally an Arcanine in that first batch of characters I imagined, he eventually fell to the side and was left behind, but I always wanted to try to bring him back in some way. So now here he is brought back as a hybrid Hisuian Typhlosion/Arcanine with a muscular hypertall build and a huge floofy tail.
His backstory is now very much tied to Jut's in that when Jut decided to spend several decades living a mortal life on a world she was quite intrigued by (same one where most of my cast come from but also nearly 1,000 years prior to current events), she and Lahr fell for each other and lived a long and happy life with each other and even having children whose descendents would eventually include Lut and Argenvira. When it came time for Jut to return to her goddessly duties she told Lahr the truth and managed to convince her fellow deities at the time to help her grant him some measure of divinity so that they would not have to be separated.
Being a "jack of all trades" craftsman in his mortal life skilled in a great many fields but not really a master of any of them, it only made sense for his realm to end up being that of such individuals and crafters. The "God of All Trades" and also helping out with fixing various things for the other deities when needed ^^;
I went with some Arcanine features to still hold onto a piece of how his original incarnation as a character was as an Arcanine and also kept the bright yellow I originally went with for his eyes and markings.
You'll also see the little water droplet earring he has which is there to represent his marriage with Jut in a war different from a ring as he's usually got those gloves on.
~ More of Lahr the Unusually Large Typhlosion~
Pokemon, Typhlosion, and Arcanine belong to Nintendo and Game Freak
As always, questions, comments, thoughts, suggestions, and critiques are welcome!
