Drawing Exuro made me want to continue the Teraek streak, so here’s our (less than) lovely proclaimed queen Teraek, Indigo. I decided I’d keep her tails lower since they can be a pain to draw, but I do still love her redesign so much. There isn’t much I can really say other than I’m very happy with how this looks, so here’s just some extra Teraek facts just for fun ^^
- Teraeks don’t exhibit sexual dimorphism. It’s impossible to physically tell male from female as they even lack reproductive organs. The only way to tell if a Teraek is either a boy or girl is to have them talk.
- Male Teraeks are typically more mellow than females, as well as naturally being more immature. While all Teraeks each have their own individual personality, you’re three times more likely to see two female Teraeks start a fight than two males.
- The smallest Teraeks on record has been clocked at 7ft tall. Indigo measures approximately 20ft, the largest of her kind.
- Despite lacking sexual organs, baby Teraeks do exist. Babies are called Tikkis (pronounced Tiki, like the masks worn by indigenous Polynesian people) and are born through the host of an already impregnated target. Expect more info on these little menaces in the next post.

They adopted genders from other living organisms, while technically speaking they are genderless, they like to use “female/male” to differentiate one another by the sound of their voice (i.e pitch and frequency). But a lot of Teraeks use they/them if they don’t want to be identified by those who do use pronouns and choose a gender to identify as. And since I want to save a lot of the info on how a baby Teraek is made for the next post, all I’ll say is they pretty much use a third party, that being an already pregnant host, to carry the Tikki.
