Nur and his still-unnamed twin brother going into war for the first time! And in the case of the brother, also the last time. He did not survived the almost 3 years campaign they were part of, and Nur managed to barely return home with half his face missing.
And yes, Nur's twin brother was the taller of the two, not to mention much more skilled in hand-to-hand combat. Nur, being more of a danger to himself than to enemy soldiers if given a spear, was instead forced into the role of a lowly arquebusier. Luckily he's an excellent shooter, and quickly became one of the best "snipers" of the battalion.

Nurs brother is way too trigger-happy for his own good. glory is only given by fellow survivors. if you're dead it becomes meaningless.

I spent 14 years doing security, some of it in awful places. I definitely worked with guys like Nur's brother. Also, I kind of like Nur's jezail, but I'd hate to depend on one for my life...
