RP is short for Role Play(ing). It's where two or more writers/artists get together and work on a single story, playing as certain characters. Say for example, you're taking from the world of Sonic. You could role play as Sonic, while your partner role plays as Tails. The two of you work together to create a great story, sometimes narrating, sometimes "talking" and sometimes doing both. It's a long process, but the results are totally worth it. Usually when I RP with someone, I start off as human though I have sometimes done as being my fursona instead to go and tf my good friends, as you have read.
