This is more practice of that blending thing I'm trying out. Basically I'm trying to get a more humanish face rather that just an animal head on a human body.

Why a Fennec? No idea.

I've done a lot of this blending. ^^ The only issue I see is near the ears. In some areas where the hair should be the main focus, I can see the ears ending. Make sure that when you're near the head like that, use a "harder" edge instead of a soft one. It may not seem to make sense, but it blends more naturally. In the lips I can see some fur where there shouldn't be any either. Try not to use the burn tool if you add shadow. Take the darker version of the fur or skin instead. You can desaturate later on. Overall I think you did a wonderful job. These are just those little extras to make it completely authentic.
This is a really interesting technique. I like it a lot better than the typical, as you say, "animal head on a human body," and I think it much more closely resembles the furry characters we draw. The one thing that looks a little odd to me is the lips. I think more animal-shaped lips would look better since it's on the end of an animal muzzle. But aside from that it's great.
