Earlier in the year, back in high school, we had an assignment to rewrite a commonly known fairytale, but done so in the style of an author whose works we were familiar with. While not quite as interesting as a Steven King Gingerbread Man, mine was Little Red Riding Hood done in the magnificently detestable style of Daniel Handler under his alias of Lemony Snicket, albeit taken up to eleven for the sake of parody. I had just been going through my files again when I came across this and I decided, hey, even if no one's going to read it, it's worth being mentioned.
It's probably best to read this if you're familiar with A Series of Unfortunate Events and have an understanding of what the readers had to put up with reading through each of the books.
No, I do not know a transvestite named Anthony.
