I scanned lately through some old German cartoon openings and listen to them.
I got a little nostalgic, remembering all those old OC's I had and the reason why I started to draw: I wanted to see the things in front of my eyes what I just saw with my heart till now.
And searching through those intros, I fell over the Digimon intro, which was quite similar to it's Japanese original (German dub peepz actually bothered to do something right back then ^^; ).
Anyway, this is one of those OC's and next to Nishi my most loved one, Ajax.
Yep, you are right, he is a Digimon and I am proud of him, because I drew every single digitation form of him till level mega and even hyper (made it up myself back then).
He is, now remembering him, a very lovely creature, funny and caring. Hm...if people had in their childhood something like invisible friends, then he was definitely my. And I am brave enough to say, that his "presence" was not only for comforting for my Fursona.
Anyway, I decided to make a new picture of him to worship everything he was and IS for me. The text next to him is the English shortened translation of the Japaneses intro "Butterfly".
Now, if you want to criticize the pic, I can't and won't stop you, but don't be too hard, because this picture isn't done for the comments and the faves and the attention.
It is done with my heart, for my childhood, as an worshiping of something so beautiful as fantasy and IT IS A DEDICATION TO ALL WHO REMEMBER AND DARE TO DREAM.
And yes, I was a Digimon fan and I still love this and many other old series. And yes I have OC for almost all of them.
