Will do! I keep finding new techniques as I go. That Life Form 2 render, though... I'm not sure how I can top it! Not unless I download the 3D hack, and I'd actually prefer not to.

thats the worst part..what do you set your render quality at?
Ive personally got mine at 1500 but I know people who render at like 5000+

I have my quality set to 10k.

Quality: 10,000
Filter Radius: Varies from 0.3-.7 depending on fractal
Oversample: Varies from 3-5 depending on fractal
Post-Process rendering is also done afterwards.

I have my filter set to .1
my oversample is usually 1...and every once in a while 2. I actually havent noticed much of a difference in quality so I usually just leave the filter radius and the oversample alone since I dont know specifically what they do

Filter blurs the individual fractal pixels to varying degrees, depending on the setting. 0.1-0.3 leaves it rather gritty, depending. 0.4 all the way up to 1 smooths the grain out and gives the fractals a more professional, finished look.

Oversample, I would gather, is how many times a set area is rendered, enhancing the overall look. Of course, being new to fractals, I could be wrong about the oversampling, but it makes sense.

BEST. MARSHMALLOW FRACTAL. EVER!!! Those happen to be my three favorite colors. 8-O
