Is there ever so touching a moment as the one where a new trainer meets his first pokémon?

...well, seriously, with the release of Diamond and Pearl imminent for DS, I decided to get back into the Pokémon swing of things, beginning with Pokemon Blue, where I truly intend to catch 'em all (through hard work, but also glitch exploitation. I'll get Mew in the process, too! XP). And, this time around, I chose Squirtle for my starter pokémon. So, decided to draw up a new trainer and his new Squirtle. Soon, it will grow into a Blastoise and learn Hydro Pump and other awesome stuff like that.

...you know, what an awkward left hand that is.
