I think I have a couple, and here's some for timewise stuff - there's 2 secret songs you can play if you didn't already know about them, the Inverted Song of Time and the Song of Double Time. The Inverted SoT slows down time by about half which is really helpful, and it's literally just playing the SoT backwards. The effect also lasts until you play the same song again. The SoDT lets you skip to a specific time of the day that you are currenty on, and you just need to play each of the first 3 notes twice.
For combat like stuff, I usually played as Deku Link as he's a little quicker and can dodge easier, and then switched to Goron Link when I got his mask as he was stronger with his attacks than normal Link. There is a very powerful mask you can get once you collect all 20 of the regular ones that basically lets you defeat bosses within like 3 hits, the Fierce Deity Mask if you didn't already know about it.
My last tip is that if you have a lot of rupees, always give them to the person at the bank before playing the SoT or running out of time and returning to dawn of the first day. All of your rupees should still be there, but there's no way to save items like bombs from being lost once you choose to reset time.
One other thing is that I would dedicate each of the 3 days to doing sidequests for people and getting as much heart pieces/masks as possible so I wouldn't try rushing bosses or doing too much at a time. There are guides for each of the masks/heart pieces, and sometimes the guides require you to use all 3 days just to get one item but it's worth it in the end.
That's pretty much how I started to get used to it and made my way around things.
