When life takes away the one person that always seemed to know the right things to say, give comfort when you feel abandoned, hug you when your sad, have a shoulder to cry on, and comes running when anything bad happens..

What is the next best thing?

An old photo of him or her?
A pillow?
Paper and pencil?

I've always found myself when I feel as though the world has turned its back on me. That a pillow is the next best thing to hug while holding a picture or watching old home movies of wonderful times.

Here's to all my watchers and friends I've made while being here. Since I can't give you a hug..I have the next best thing. A pillow, paper, and a pencil. Thank you for the support as I grow into an artist.
