some of my worst picture have good numbers, just because they are cute enough for FA. That being said, I have to say I am jealous that you have a decent zoo (and lens) to be able to get all these nice animal shots. I have been trying out my way (WV) but fail as most of the animals out here are so keyed up and on the defensive, that they hear you 1000' away, and are long gone by the time you get there. Or are too dangerous to want to get near. Like coyote's and bear. The deer seem pretty docile, I just have to remember to always have my camera around my neck. I practically ran into one during a late evening foray out my kitchen door. I ran into him, and I think we were both equally scared. He had run off before I could get my camera. Another evening there was a family of new born baby skunks trying to be cute (and doing a good job) and following me. However it was midnight, and my camera sucks for night shots (1st gen chip). The were not staying still long enough to bother, and I did not want to meet momma, or have them get attached to me. I have blue herons out my way, but their hearing is so acute, that they are gone before I can even see them. maybe I will just stick to fish, lol (the lazy cat inn me speaks).
