This cyan derg likes to fall apart, and I look so cool with my big belly with the torso alone.
Explanation:
So basically, this is a combination of stickers where if you have them overlapped correctly, it looks like the character is all together. But actually, they are into separate pieces.
How I made this? One of 2 ways:
1. This character was originally together in one piece, but I took him apart in Photoshop using the selection tools, or in Illustrator using clipping masks.
2. This character was originally constructed in separate parts, with separate pieces belonging to each layer for a 2D animation rig.
In this case, the method was option 1. He was originally whole before I edited him.
This is something fun I like to do with my characters. You could play a game with this setup with hangman, but instead of putting a character together, you're taking them apart. Also, you can group them into different combinations.

Yay!! Alamazing! :3 That's maybe just an edit, but it gives a really great idea of how the characters can be dismantled x3 and also the parts you prefer to detach and how^^ Honestly i agree you look do cool with the big belly part! x3 I saw you've done that with many characters toon! Can't wait to see them, how they go to pieces :3
Eee, thanks Xhhy! Yes, it does give a good idea of how they can be disassembled. Glad you like the belly as well. Oh yeah, true. I'm going to do this with a whole lot more of my characters, even the ones I have yet to design bodies for, so that will be exciting.
I understand. Liking modularity depends of the personality and it's not for everyone ^^'. Sometimes it's better to keep people in one piece x3 Tho i guess having both, modular and non modular people, makes the mod people more unique which does not trivialize it. Even if it makes them different, it might be their identity they would lose if they were like all the others, or if the the others were like them.
