So basically, this is a combination of stickers where if you have them overlapped correctly, it looks like the character is all together. But actually, they are into separate pieces.
How I made this? One of 2 ways:
1. This character was originally together in one piece, but I took him apart in Photoshop using the selection tools, or in Illustrator using clipping masks.
2. This character was originally constructed in separate parts, with separate pieces belonging to each layer for a 2D animation rig.
In this case, the method was option 1. He was originally whole before I edited him.
This is something fun I like to do with my characters. You could play a game with this setup with hangman, but instead of putting a character together, you're taking them apart. Also, you can group them into different combinations.
