Little Red Riding Hood Cover (Old College Work Piece)
Heh, a bit of a different thing from what I've been focusing on of late. Instead of sample chapters from my book, or the maps or lore-significant symbol relating thereto, or posting book-relevant artwork that I've commissioned, I thought I might as well put this up here, too.
My family and I are looking to be moving in the near future, so we've been going through things and deciding between trashing them, keeping them, etc.
Among the things we've been sifting through were some portfolio folders/packs from my time at WKU, where I got my BFA in graphic design. The first ones I went through were basically empty apart from leftover drawing pads of various sizes, which had a good bit of leftover paper in them. I took the sheets out of the bindings, but otherwise decided to keep them for whatever extent of drawing I might still do in time.
So then I went to put them in a packet I've kept in my closet for the past several years, and there I found a number of printouts that were used in my graduation final, which entailed a selection of my work being featured in one of the campus galleries. I sorta partly forgot about a number of them until I had another look. XD
This piece here was among what I found. It was from an assignment that was going by the idea of trying to illustrate a book cover or something, if I remember right.
I *think* it was done on vellum, but I might be remembering wrong. I don't know if the original piece has survived; this was a scan from a zoomed-in printout that I used for the presentation.
