“Wooooww, this place is beautiful!” Patch sighed in amazement.
The school was rather nice looking in a more nostalgic academia fashion. Red bricks and cream colored pillars were certainly easier on the eyes than the boring, gray concrete block that was his old schoolhouse.
“I just know this place is gonna be exciting!!” the teenage Stufful beamed, “Whole new school, new teachers, new classmates! I wonder if I can make any new friends toda- OOFF!!”
Lost in his blissfully exuberant wondering, the young man had failed to properly watch his surroundings. Turns out, he had bumped into two other students. Not the best way to start off a potential new friendship. But, Patch was not one to be perturbed by the occasional social faux pas. He quickly righted himself and put on his friendliest smile.
“I’m so sorry about that. Didn’t mean to bump into you,” Patch brightly greeted the two, raising his hand in a small wave, “My name’s Patch! I just transferred here!”
The Stufful teen made sure he was standing tall and strong with his chest out, just like his Papa taught him to when making a first impression. Secretly, he hoped this stance also helped to show off his attire. He had spent so many hours last night choosing the perfect outfit for today. His Momma assured him earlier that morning that he was gonna be the most handsome boy at the school. He even went the extra mile to wear his favorite suspenders to preemptively avoid any wardrobe malfunctions.
His work must have paid off. When the two tall, muscular Zangoose looked him over, both developed twin grins on their faces and shining gleam in their eyes.
Patch had a good feeling about this.

He is just one of the nicest, softest boys you’ll ever meet. That and, the most quintessential nerd of them all, in both brain, personality, and fashion sense. Always waking up with an optimistic smile, Patch lives life everyday like he could give it a great big hug. Unfortunately, that boundless optimism of his leads him to acting very naively of other’s intentions. He’s often under the assumption that every person is a new friend with only the best of intentions towards. This leaves the moments of bitter reality waking him up all the more biting.
