turbinedivinity glows now? :D
This summer I added ~60ft. of elwire to Turbine's existing partial bird costume (head and wings) for debut at Burning Man, and also I made a newer, nicer, more aerodynamic pair of wings for my phoenix costume.
Note: I made all the bird parts pictured (heads & wings), but not Turbine's dress! The PVC maid outfit he's wearing was created by a cosplay maker in China, and Turbine added pink and blue wire to it himself. ;)
This is us at RainFurrest in Seattle last month; unfortunately that was the only time I went out in costume this con, due to running out of time and energy. :c But if anyone who was out and about at the time got any photos or video of us, we'd love to see them! And if you missed us this time, keep an eye out at Further Confusion in January...

oh, neat!
I've been trying to figure out some way to use EL wire in a costume my self, since the prices came way down.
Haven't thought of anything yet-
I usually do some kind of medieval theme, and while I love the effects- its just not something I normally think of.
I have thought of maybe a furry TRON type character, but not much beyond that.
